Therapeutic Yoga blends traditional yoga postures, breathwork and meditation techniques with physical therapy exercises tailored to your specific health condition. You will be provided with an individualized program to increase strength, flexibility and energy.
Therapeutic Yoga eases pain and prevents the re-occurrence of injury, using:
Exercise
- To increase strength and flexibility
- Traditional yoga postures, core strength exercises, somatics exercises and bodywork techniques.
Breathing Techniques
- To increase lung capacity, develop core strength and cultivate tools for relaxation.
- Includes breathing techniques used in the treatment of COPD
Relaxation Methods
